IMMUNISATION
Health & Safety Come First
Oakhurst Preschool maintains strict standards to protect your child’s well-being. Immunisation is required as per the Public Health Act for enrolment, unless a medical or religious exemption applies.
What Families Need to Know
- Immunisation records must be up to date
- Exemptions must be formally approved
- Centre access may be restricted if illness spreads
- Child Care Subsidy may be paused if records lapse
Health & Safety Come First
- Children with fevers must stay home for 24 hours after the last spike
- No attendance if antibiotics were recently started
- Families are notified immediately if children become unwell
- Emergency contacts are used if families are unreachable
Child Protection
Under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998, our team are Mandatory Reporter. We’re committed to safeguarding children and are trained to act on any concerns for safety or well-being.
